SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SERVICES

The Scientific-Technical Services of UdL are open to research groups from UdL itself, other universities, public or private institutions, and companies that wish to take advantage of the human and technological potential offered.

The SCTs of the University of Lleida are a comprehensive support tool for research.

Their connection to the university environment provides a wide range of services for most areas of knowledge.

Cell Culture Laboratory

This service offers the university community, as well as other public and private institutions, the possibility of cultivating animal cells in a self-service system or with the support of technical staff, and performing various techniques that allow their study and characterization at the molecular and cellular levels.

 

Proteomics and Genomics

The Proteomics and Genomics Service is located in the Biomedicine2 building, within the premises of the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital in Lleida.

 

eHealth Advisory Service (SADeH)

Bioinformatics (BIO2COMP)

  • Consulting services for researchers to plan bioinformatics activities in project funding applications and in the planning of their experiments for appropriate subsequent bioinformatics treatment
  • Personalized and group training in Bioinformatics and mathematical modeling
  • Advice and support to users of bioinformatics tools and methods

 

Rodent Animal Facility

The Rodent Animal Facility offers various services to researchers who request them.

  • Production of different species and strains of rodents (mice and rats) for teaching and research.
  • Application and importation of special models from authorized external providers and other research centers.
  • Facilities for the maintenance of rodents and lagomorphs during the experimental procedure.
  • Advice on compliance with regulations governing the use of animals for teaching and research: Facilities, operations, records, personnel, ethics committees, notifications, and procedure confirmations.
  • Advice on the handling, care, and manipulation of animals, including anesthesia procedures.
  • Training for research and experimental personnel.
