The Quality Assurance includes all the activities aimed at checking and ensuring the quality of the courses developed by the Faculty of Medicine, and also at generating and maintaining the trust of students, teachers and society. It is for this reason that the University of Lleida has designed an Internal Degree Quality Assurance System (SGIQ) that has been certified by AQU Catalunya. The SGIQ guarantees that a degree is managed in accordance with a set of established procedures that are continuously reviewed in order to identify aspects that can be improved. Each faculty and school of the UdL has its own SGIQ, but most of the procedures that are part of it are common to the entire university.
The University of Lleida is equipped with its own Teaching Quality and Planning unit, which, thanks to the mutual support with the Faculty of Medicine, allows the design, implementation and monitoring of quality assessment and improvement programs and planning in accordance with the general policy of the Vice-Rectorate for Academic Planning and Quality.
